In 2017 during the 71st U.N. General Assembly, Matthew Bird was appointed Acting- Director of Public Relations for United Nations UN SDG Media Zone.

 

2015 Matt Bird became Co-Host of The Traders Network Show, an ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS syndicated non-for-profit financial show featuring CEOs, government leaders, financial titans, industry influencers on global ESG, sustainability, CSR, and social impact business trends that are shaping our global economies.

 

On July 21st, 2009, Matthew Bird rang the NASDAQ Closing Bell in honor of this partnership with the NASDAQ Financial Services Group.

 

In 2006 Matt Bird was the CEO of MUNCmedia, a media, and FinTech (PaaS) company. Prior to exiting, MUNCMedia was the largest featured content distribution network in the world. Powering the targeted news and content distribution for  NASDAQ OMX, GlobeNewswire, Shareholder.com (Now Thomson Reuters), PR Newswire, and more across more than 1,400 news publications, T.V., and radio networks reaching 110+ million monthly users (Retail Investors).

 

In 2009, Matt Bird solved issuer monitoring and tracking of press release distribution. Matt Bird his team of engineers at MUNCmedia design end activated the first newswire and content monitoring platform forever changing the newswire industry. The system went live on NASDAQ GlobeNewswire in late 2009. The content distribution, monitoring, content targeting technology, and algorithms developed by Matt Bird and MUNCmedia have been are widely adopted by all public companies, newswire services, stock exchanges, and communication networks today, worldwide.

 

During his career early advertising years, Matt Bird held director and V.P. roles at BBDO, IGM, ScreamingMedia (now Marketwatch), and has lectured at MIT Sloan Business School.
